Indiana Tow Truck Operator Struck By Train

An Indiana tow truck operator was injured after being struck by a train in Aurora, Ohio, on Wednesday December 8. According to a news report, at approximately 10 a.m., Steven Disbro of Sunman, Ind., parked his tow truck on railroad tracks at Second Street and was hooking to a vehicle when a train approached. Disbro apparently entered the truck and tried to move the truck from the tracks but the train hit the vehicle. The impact threw Disbro from the truck.

The operator was later taken to University Hospital by a medical helicopter. His condition is not known.
