2012 NASCAR Season — What Does the Crystal Ball Say?

From The January Tow Times issue Racing Special, “2012 NASCAR Season — What Does the Crystal Ball Say?”:

Marcos Ambrose – Had a win in Cup and Nationwide along with bad luck. Twelve Top 10 finishes in 2011. Look for the Aussie to win more in 2012.

Paul Menard – Had one win at RCR and with his family’s hardware store’s sponsorship. He can win more with this well-funded team.

Martin Truex Jr. – The senior leader of the Waltrip Toyota team with the ousting of Florida’s David Reutimann after the Aaron’s bear was not happy with a 28th place finish even with his cute daughter on TV.

Greg Biffle – Had a disappointing 2011 season but his team may step it up next year with wins for the “Cat In The Hat.” 3M has the sponsorship money in the Roush team.

Juan Montoya – Came close to wins but never held the checkered flag. A winner in other series, he needs to learn to hold his temper on the track and he can win in NASCAR.

Trevor Bayne – Gave the Wood Brothers the emotional 2011 Daytona 500 win in the 21 car. He had one win in the NASCAR Nationwide series, finishing 12th in the standings. The charming kid-next-door can win, but will not be in the series for championship points.

David Ragan – Won the Daytona July race but lost UPS sponsorship to Jack Roush. David owns a Ford dealership in Georgia run by his dad, a former racer. Ragan has an income, but is looking for a ride and could land a good one with a team that can win.

Mark Martin – Came close to wins but lost on fuel mileage and bad luck. Moving to a part-time ride in Michael Waltrip’s Toyota. Could muster a win next year for the Busch Series all-time winner.

These flyers informed people of the parade and local drop off box locations. Several towing companies called our office on Monday and said it was the best event they have ever been to. Pat Paso of Going Towing, Bensenville, IL said it was a great bonding experience for him and his daughter and they plan on attending every Worldwide Equipment Sales Tow Trucks For Tots parade to come.
