An Atlanta jury found Justin Moore, 31, guilty of the murder of a repossession worker, according to a news report.
Moore was found guilty on charges of felony murder, aggravated assault, commission of a crime with a firearm and eluding police. Moore was accused of shooting Brandon Thomas and Willie Thackston as they tried to repossess Moore’s mustang in Fulton County last year. Thackston survived the shooting; Thomas did not.
Last week the jury heard testimony, including from Moore himself. Moore said he thought the men were stealing his car and called the murder an accident, the report states.
Moore was also accused of leading police on a high-speed chase following the shooting.
