Tow Truck Driver Shot and Killed in Baltimore

A 23-year-old tow truck operator was shot and killed early Monday, Nov. 1, in West Baltimore, Md. Andrew Joyce was finishing his shift, according to a news report, at approximately 2:30 a.m. when he was shot once in the chest. He was found inside his truck, which had its bed down, in the 500 block of Mosher St.

Joyce had responded to a tow request, which was verified by the truck’s GPS. Nothing was stolen during the crime and the motive of the shooting is unclear, the report states.
