A Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, man was charged with careless driving after his vehicle struck a tow truck operator on Route 15, Thursday, Oct. 28. Christopher A. Kaskie, 28, was driving a Ford pickup truck when he failed to negotiate a curve, lost control of the vehicle and hit tow truck operator Eric C. Woerner, 37, who was loading a vehicle near mile marker 9.2, a news report said.
Woerner, of Gettysburg, was struck by the right rear of the pickup and thrown to the left front of his tow truck. He was flown to a York hospital and was in serious condition, according to the October 28 report.
