Edmonton Police Search for Suspect in Fatal Shooting

Police in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, are looking for a suspect in a fatal shooting involving a tow truck attempting to tow a car. A news report said the shooting occurred Thursday, October 14, at approximately 4 p.m. when residents near 161 Ave. and 100 St. reported hearing gunshots.

Emergency crews later removed the victim from a yellow All Star Towing and Recovery tow truck a few blocks away, the report said. Residents said the tow truck was attempting to tow a gray Infiniti G35 when the shots were fired.

Police have not disclosed the cause of death or other details. The investigation is continuing.
