According to an article in the Sandy Post, “Brothers Pat and Mike O’Malley are helping to put Sandy and Gresham center stage by delivering hundreds of thousands of pounds of heavy equipment to a film location for the pilot of “Gold Rush,” a Discovery Channel show scheduled for airing in October. The Discovery Channel commissioned the O’Malleys, owners of Always Towing in Sandy, to supply the heavy equipment used to open a gold mine in Alaska, which forms the backdrop of the new television series.”
