The New Hampshire Towing Association reminds its members that driver certification is required to be on, and remain on, the state police rotation list. The NHTA schedules certification training and other training opportunities. For more information contact the association at 603-863-4206.
The NHTA also announces in their August 2010 newsletter that HB404 was recently passed by the full House and Senate, and it will become law September 20, 2010.
According to the newsletter: “The new law corrects a number of time inconsistencies when processing abandoned motor vehicles in the State of New Hampshire. the law also removes the hearings for abandoned vehicles from the courts to the safety commissioner’s office. Any hearings that need to be held shall be done so at the Bureau of hearings with the Department of Safety overseeing, not in the courts. There are many more changes with this law that we were able to correct and redefine, bottom line, it will improve and shorten the time it takes to file and process abandoned vehicles.”
