Blades Tow Right, a leading manufacturer of wireless tow lights, has introduced a new fully functioning wireless taillight system with amber strobe to its family of products. The RC-Gypsy/Flasher will provide the standard marker lights, turn signals and brake lights, but also has a flashing amber strobe for added safety during set-up.
“Keeping tow truck operators safe is a number one priority,” says company founder Ed Blades. “With the new Gypsy/Flasher, operators will have greater visibility to oncoming traffic, adding an important measure of safety.”
Like all Blades Tow Right products, the RC-Gypsy/Flasher operates with an FCC-approved 2.4 GHz chipset for maximum reliability, and features serialized components so that each transmitter and receiver will work only with its designated “mate” – ensuring that there is no cross talk between units. It also features the standard Blades’ battery-saving function, which has the marker lights on only when they are needed, unlike competitive models that are lit anytime the power is on.
The lights are housed in a white PVC case, rather than the standard Blades’ polyethylene, which reduces the cost of the unit to be more than $100 less than competitive products. The unit mounts with true 105# pull rubber-coated magnets for maximum holding power.
Each bar comes with a four-pin transmitter and 12v cigarette lighter charger.
The RC-Gypsy/Flasher carries lifetime warranty on the electronics and a 10-year manufacturers warranty on the lights.
Blades Tow Right, located in Novi, Michigan, has been producing light bars and accessories for towing professionals, and others needing portable safety lights for more than 15 years.
