Matheny Motors and Miller Industries Host Training School, Open House

Matheny Motors and Miller Industries will be holding a training course this Wednesday and Thursday, May 5 and 6, at the Matheny Motors Woodbridge, Virginia location, according to a press release. The following day, Friday, May 7, members of the towing and recovery industry are invited to attend an open house at the same location.

Tom Luciano, an internationally recognized instructor in all training areas of towing and recovery, will teach the training course, titled Techniques of Heavy Duty Towing & Recovery. This training school is a two-day intensive course with classroom instruction held each morning and hands-on demonstration during the afternoon. Outside training will involve demonstrations regarding proper towing use and axle weighing along with recovery techniques. All participants will receive a training manual, a certificate of completion, lunch and refreshments.

Space is limited to the first 35 paid participants. Class is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cost of registration is $125 per participant and is non-refundable. Registration is available online at www.mathenymotors.com or by calling 304-485-4418 x557.

The open house is the flagship customer event for its Commercial Sales Department, according to the press release. There will be an all-day cookout and dessert station. All attendees will receive a special gift courtesy of Matheny Motors, Miller Industries and other sponsors, and will have an opportunity to register to win additional sponsor-donated prizes.

Open House attendees will also have an introduction to the most current selection of Miller Industries towing and recovery equipment.
