Wisconsin Towing Operator Struck, Killed in Roadside Crash

A towing operator has been killed in Washington County, Wis., Tuesday, April 19, after being struck by two vehicles. According to a news report, police said the operator was recovering a car from a ditch near the intersection of Highways 41 and 33 near Allenton in the afternoon when he was hit by an oncoming car and then a semi truck.

The Sheriff’s Office said snowfall and slippery road conditions were to blame for the crash. Officials estimated 50 to 60 accidents occurred because of Tuesday’s bad weather in Washington County.
