A Texas tow truck driver died Wednesday, April 21, after he was struck by a vehicle while working on Interstate 20, according to a news report.
Adam Lopez, 46, of Ranger, Texas, was at the scene of a wreck around 12:20 a.m., trying to remove a 2007 GMC rental truck when a 2008 Ford F-250 heading eastbound traveled off the road toward the crash scene. The Ford struck the GMC and then Lopez, the report states.
Lopez was taken to the local hospital, where he died at about 5 a.m. in the intensive care unit.
