Man Dies in Chain Towing Accident

A man attempting to tow a car with a chain was killed in Kansas City, Mo. An April 9 news story reported that the man was fixing a tow chain between two cars while pulled over at Interstate 70 and Oak Street. As he worked on the chain between the two vehicles, a third vehicle struck the towed car from behind, pinning the man between the two vehicles.

He was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Authorities had yet to say whether the driver of the third vehicle would be ticketed, reports said.
