Two tow truck operators received serious injuries Thursday, Feb. 24, after being struck by a pickup on Route 24 near Randolph, Mass. A news report said Michael Chinn, 27, of East Boston and James Tello, 40, of Winthrop were struck by a Toyota Tundra pickup driven by Dean Saxonis, 40, of Raynham. The pickup reportedly veered into the breakdown lane, hitting two tow trucks and a car. Tello and Winthrop were knocked down and left stuck underneath the trucks, the report said.
The two tow operators were taken to Boston Medical Center and listed in serious condition.
