A tow truck operator was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries after being hit on Interstate 90 in Winona County, Minn. According to news reports, operator Corie Maynard, 36, of Nelson, Wis., had recovered a Chevy Tahoe from a ditch at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 31 when he was struck by a Dodge Ram driven by Travis Rutt, 20, of Belle Plaine, Minn. Rutt was not injured. The accident occurred on westbound I-90 east of the Winona exit and is being investigated by the Minnesota State Patrol.
Maynard was taken to Community Memorial Hospital in Winona.
