A tow truck company in Fresno, Calif., turned a Monday, Jan. 24, recovery into a way to help the needy, according to a news report.

A truck hauling oranges overturned in fog that Monday night on Highway 99 in Fresno, sending oranges everywhere. Action Towing towed the big rig, which still contained thousands of pounds of perfectly good oranges, the report states. However, because of the crash, the oranges weren’t sellable, so Action Towing donated them to the Poverello House homeless center.
