A tow truck operator in South St. Louis, Mo., suffered shoulder and leg injuries after his tow truck was struck by a car. According to news reports, the unidentified operator was removing a vehicle from an accident scene at Gravois and Ellenwood Avenues at approximately 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, when a car without its headlights on struck the side of the tow truck. The operator was thrown into the air by the crash.
The car’s driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated, reports said.
