Minnesota Tow Truck Driver Struck on Interstate
Jan 31st, 2011 | By Editorial Staff | Category: Minnesota, National NewsA Minnesota tow truck driver was hit by a truck on Interstate 90 at 8:30 a.m. today, while working to pull a vehicle out of a ditch, according to a news report.
The accident happened near the westbound Winona exit. The tow truck driver, whose name has not been released, had just pulled a Chevy Tahoe out of a ditch when a Dodge Ram driven by 20-year-old Travis Rutt of Belle Plaine, struck the driver.
The driver was taken to a La Crosse hospital. The condition of the driver is not known. Rutt was not injured.
The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating the accident.
